Tuition & Costs
Many Ohio families don’t realize that they have a tuition-free option for public school outside of a traditional brick-and-mortar setting. No tuition is required for Ohio students to enroll in or attend Ohio Digital Learning School (ODLS), an online public school for Ohio residents in grades 9–12 between 16 and 21 years old.
Tuition-Free Online Public School Since 2019
You’ve got options when it comes to your public school choice. Trusted in Ohio since 2019, Ohio Digital Learning School is a tuition-free online public school that offers flexibility for our state residents to learn how they learn best—from the comfort and safety of home.
Just like brick-and-mortar public schools, there may be some costs for supplies that will enhance your child’s learning experience. Read below for more information about how online public schools like ODLS are funded and what costs families may expect for their child to attend an online public school.

Quick Facts About Online School Costs
Families in Ohio do not pay tuition for their student(s) to attend ODLS. Students must have access to a computer with an internet connection to attend an online public school.
To ensure you have the equipment you need for school, ODLS provides each student with a loaner laptop, which must be returned when the student leaves the school.
