Staff Spotlight: Erin Ramsey, Special Programs Academic Administrator

At Ohio Digital Learning School (ODLS), providing meaningful support for every learner is a top priority. That mission continues to grow with Erin Ramsey, who is the school’s Special Programs Academic Administrator.

In her role, Ms. Ramsey oversees the planning and coordination of specialized programs including special education, 504 plans, McKinney-Vento services, and support for English Language Learners. She also helps guide the teaching staff and ensures that all programs meet Ohio’s academic standards and compliance requirements.

“Ms. Ramsey has a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to educational equity and program compliance – having more than 20 years of experience in education leadership and student services,” said Dr. Brian Powderly, ODLS’ head of school.

Ms. Ramsey’s expertise in advancing intervention strategies and promoting inclusive practices also helps ensure ODLS students receive the individualized support they need to thrive academically and personally.

“My goal is to bring meaningful experience to the virtual space and support Ohio Digital Learning School in delivering inclusive, high-impact educational experiences for all students,” said Ms. Ramsey.
